Position Details:

About the Role: As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing overnight care and support. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing companionship and emotional support during the night.
- Assisting with personal care tasks with empathy and sensitivity.
- Monitoring well-being throughout the night and responding to any issues or emergencies.
- Maintaining a safe and comfortable environment.
- Administering medications as prescribed, following proper protocols.
- Providing updates and exchanging information with other team members to ensure continuity of support.
Requirements:
- A compassionate and empathetic nature, with a genuine desire to support others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
- Previous experience in support work is desirable but not essential.
- Availability to work waking night shifts is required, with flexibility to work daytime shifts during the training and induction period.
- Willingness to work across two or three different locations in Cambridgeshire in the future.
