Job Title: Support Worker

We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team to provide support to an individual with Autism.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will provide support to the individual with Autism, helping them to develop confidence and independence in accessing the community, including visiting the shop, joining social groups, using public transport, and exploring work/voluntary opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to the individual with Autism, helping them to develop confidence and independence in accessing the community.
  • Assist the individual with Autism with daily tasks and activities, such as cooking and baking.
  • Support the individual with Autism in developing their life skills, such as using public transport and accessing social groups.
  • Provide emotional support and encouragement to the individual with Autism.
Requirements:
  • Experience of supporting individuals with Autism.
  • Knowledge of the challenges that individuals with Autism may face in everyday life.
  • Ability to provide emotional support and encouragement to the individual with Autism.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
