We are looking for a dedicated Health and Safety Professional to join our team at AMS People Limited. As a key member of our HSE department, you will play a vital role in promoting a safety-conscious culture throughout the organization. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, including maintaining permits and accreditations, conducting risk assessments, and investigating incidents.
This role offers a unique opportunity to combine your technical expertise with business acumen, driving forward our sustainability agenda while ensuring a safe and healthy work environment. The estimated salary for this role is £65,000 - £85,000 per year. With your experience in COMAH and passion for HSE, we would love to hear from you.
Your Responsibilities:
* Maintain accurate records of permits, certifications, and regulatory requirements
* Conduct regular risk assessments and identify opportunities for improvement
* Develop and deliver HSE training programs for employees
* Facilitate HSE forums to promote awareness and engagement
* Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
