Compliance Manager Job Description

Mountjoy Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Manager to join our team in Horsham District Council. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and compliant delivery of statutory compliance works across our estate of 156 properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical compliance lead for the contract, liaising with the client to advise and agree solutions
  • Responsible for Technical & Legislative Compliance for the contract
  • Ensure the PPM programme is fit for purpose for the estate condition and asset usage to reduce breakdowns
  • Set the standard for PPM tasks, method statements, training & competency requirements using SFG20 as a basis
  • Ensure the trades and subcontractors have the required training & equipment to carry out the PPM tasks
  • Ensure the PPM is carried out on time to the correct safety and quality standards
  • Quality checks and auditing on PPM work carried out
  • Ensure all certification and compliance documentation kept up to date for the contract
  • Review service reports to ensure compliant and remedials quoted, agreed & actioned as required
  • Challenge subcontractors and trades to ensure correct and proportionate remedials are raised and completed in a timely manner
  • Re-procurement of PPM subcontractor packages
  • Provide technical advice as required
  • Support on maintaining technical accreditations where required
  • Support on tenders with PPM / compliance service delivery if required
  • Forge strong working relationships with Client Technical Representatives
  • Embody the Mountjoy ethos and values
Requirements:
  • Building maintenance environment (Essential)
  • Demonstrable experience succeeding in compliant delivery of PPM across a varied estate – both domestic and commercial and public areas (Essential)
  • Degree, Diploma, HNC in an engineering discipline (Desirable)
  • Technical qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Essential)
