Job Description

Annyalla Chicks is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join their team as a Senior Hatchery Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where you will be responsible for ensuring the welfare of day-old chicks and maintaining the high standards of quality, hygiene, animal welfare, health and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily production needs, particularly chick production
  • Lead and manage a team of staff
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of hygiene
  • Develop and implement training programs
  • Plan and coordinate hatchery operations
  • Manage stores and supplies
  • Work collaboratively with the team to provide the highest welfare and quality standards

Requirements:

  • Technical knowledge and expertise
  • Strong computer skills
  • Basic mathematics qualifications
  • Access to own transport
  • Previous experience in a hatchery environment
