A Senior Electrical Project Engineer / Manager is needed for this established M&E Contractor in the North East. The business is an established contractor with a turnover of around £30m a year. They have recently won a number of new contracts and are looking to recruit someone of this level to be involved with commercial, leisure, educational, and healthcare schemes.

This individual may have the responsibility of managing more than one project at any time and a team of engineering and supervisory staff. Therefore, you must possess leadership skills, along with an excellent paper reporting procedure.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Reporting to the Contracts Manager, the successful candidate will manage the supervisors assigned to each project.
  2. Coordinate activities with the company's design and procurement teams.
  3. Resource projects (both client personnel & labour only/bona fide sub-contractors).
  4. Program, quantity survey, and manage the client relationship.
  5. Prepare a comprehensive Take Off for electrical services to enable procurement to negotiate the most advantageous terms with merchants/manufacturers for proposed purchases.
Requirements:
  1. Leadership skills and excellent paper reporting procedure.
  2. Ability to manage multiple projects and teams.
  3. Strong communication and coordination skills.
  4. Experience in electrical project management.
  5. Knowledge of electrical services and procurement.
