Marine Construction Manager Position

Carmichael UK is seeking a seasoned Marine Construction Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing site staff operatives and sub-contractors, as well as providing method statements, hazard risk assessments, and project management plans.

The successful candidate will have experience in managing site and section engineers, with significant main contractor civils experience specialising in Marine, piling and/or dredging required. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a major Joint Venture project, with a salary range of £70,000 - £90,000 per annum depending on experience.

Main Duties:

  1. Manage site staff operatives and sub-contractors.
  2. Provide method statements, hazard risk assessments, and project management plans.
  3. Monitor contract costs against agreed budgets.
  4. Foster good relations and reputation with clients.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A good communicator with the ability to instruct and direct staff.
  • A good organiser, both of self and others with the ability to think in advance.
  • Experienced in people management and motivation of staff.
  • Degree or HNC Qualified in Civil Engineering.
