Job Title: Director of Life Sciences Projects
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Director to lead our Life Sciences projects. As a Director, you will be responsible for developing and delivering business plans that drive sustained growth across sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading by example and establishing a safe, inclusive, and effective project delivery and team environment.
- Managing and performing major projects and programmes at portfolio level, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and specification met.
- Creating and promoting clear vision, leadership, and strategic direction for major projects and programmes.
- Implementing strategies for service delivery to promote a culture of continuous improvement and maintain better practice.
- Building and sustaining an integrated, multi-cultural, collaborative, and high-performance team that anticipates and responds to organizational, stakeholder, and industry needs.
- Effectively communicating key strategic business needs of the project, managing and reporting on safety, service quality, and performance.
- Accountability for service delivery, standards, and fiscal performance at an account level.
- Attracting and retaining talented people.
Requirements:
- Demonstrable delivery experience in Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences sectors.
- Experience working at account level within a client organization at portfolio level.
- Established network within the industry supply chain.
- Strong and current understanding of design/code requirements/building regulations and industry trends.
- Proven track record and demonstrable delivery experience of project management delivering large projects and/or programmes, leading and managing teams up to 50 people.
- Thorough understanding and practical experience of working within a shared data/enterprise environment.
- Knowledge of process engineering and/or construction management.
- Degree qualified in construction and/or engineering.
- Professional memberships desirable.
