Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Director to lead our Life Sciences projects and programmes. You'll be responsible for developing and delivering business plans, managing teams, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required specification.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish a safe, inclusive, and effective project delivery environment.
- Lead and manage major projects and programmes at portfolio level.
- Create and promote a clear vision, leadership, and strategic direction for projects and programmes.
- Develop and implement strategies for service delivery to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Build and sustain a high-performance team that anticipates and responds to the needs of the organization and key stakeholders.
- Effectively communicate key strategic business needs and manage safety, service quality, and performance.
- Accountable for service delivery, standards, and fiscal performance at account level.
Requirements
- Demonstrable delivery experience in Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences sectors.
- Experience working at account level within a client organization at portfolio level.
- Established network within the industry supply chain.
- Strong understanding of design, code requirements, building regulations, and industry trends.
- Proven track record of delivering large projects and/or programmes, leading and managing teams up to 50 people.
- Thorough understanding and practical experience of working within a shared data/enterprise environment.
- Degree qualified in construction and/or engineering.
- Professional memberships desirable.
