Life Sciences Commission Director

We are seeking an ambitious Director to lead our Life Sciences Commission, with a proven track record in pharmaceutical, biotech, or other forms of Life Sciences construction projects and programmes in both the public and private sector.
As Life Sciences Commission Lead, you will be responsible for developing and delivering a business plan that includes sustained growth across sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish a safe, inclusive, and effective project delivery and team environment.
- Lead and manage major projects and programmes at portfolio level, ensuring all projects are delivered to time, budget, and specification.
- Create and promote a clear vision, leadership, and strategic direction for major projects and programmes.
- Develop and implement strategies for service delivery to promote a culture of continuous improvement and maintain better practice.
- Build and sustain an integrated, multi-cultural, collaborative, and high-performance team that anticipates and responds to the needs of the organization, key stakeholders, and industry partners.
- Effectively communicate key strategic business needs of the project, managing and reporting on safety, service quality, and performance.
- Accountability at account level for service delivery, standards, and fiscal performance.
- Accountable for attracting and retaining talented people.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrable delivery experience in Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences sectors.
- Experience working at account level within a client organization at portfolio level.
- Established network within the industry supply chain.
- Strong and current understanding of design/code requirements/building regulations and industry trends.
- Proven track record and demonstrable delivery experience of project management delivering large projects and/or programmes – leading and managing teams up to 50 people of work.
- Thorough understanding and practical experience of working within a shared data/enterprise environment.
- Knowledge of process engineering and/or construction management.
- Degree qualified in construction and/or engineering.
- Professional memberships desirable.
