Seeking a Dedicated Autism Support Assistant

We are committed to delivering exceptional educational experiences for our pupils, and we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Autism Support Assistant to join our team at EdEx – Education Recruitment. As an Autism Support Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) across EYFS, KS1 & KS2.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with teaching staff and other professionals to develop and implement tailored programs that cater to the diverse needs of our pupils.
  • Provide individualized support to pupils with ASD, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment, fostering a sense of belonging among all students.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in education or a related field, with experience working with children and young people.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A creative approach to problem-solving, with the ability to think outside the box and develop innovative solutions.
