Financial Planning Career Path

£30-35,000 + bonus potential

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen with a well-established, successful and forward-thinking financial services firm for a dedicated individual looking for a fast-track role into becoming a financial advisor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shadowing senior financial advisors and other professionals within the firm whilst training
  • Providing technical support and assistance until achieving a certified status
  • Supporting with research, reports and recommendations
  • Attending meetings and conferences
  • Completing a diploma in financial planning with full support of the company
  • Acquiring a certified status to be able to advise clients
  • Servicing the firm's existing clients, dealing with new leads and business development
  • Giving advice on life, pensions and investments to mostly individuals, some small to medium-sized enterprises at all levels

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience of working within financial services, preferably in a financial advisory sector
  • Desire to progress towards becoming a financial advisor
  • Ideally completed a diploma in level 4 (regulated financial planning) - the firm will consider someone that is 1 or 2 papers away from completion
  • Confident communicator
  • Ambitious team player
