Job Title: Staff Nurse - Clinical Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Staff Nurse to join our Pre-Assessment department at Nuffield Health Brentwood Hospital. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and a range of surgical knowledge, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual programmes of patient care.
- Manage own group of patients and deliver evidenced-based nursing care to the highest possible standard.
- Communicate with a wide range of individuals to meet individual patient needs.
- Respond to and prioritise a wide range of demands and tasks in a rapidly changing environment.
- Perform routine tests and order routine blood tests as per surgery and/or patient related risk factors.
- Participate fully as a team member, sharing knowledge, information and supporting colleagues to promote a cohesive ward/departmental team.
- Work with other disciplines and professions to ensure total management of patient stay.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of a positive learning environment for staff, patients and visitors.
- Maintain up to date accurate patient records, using appropriate documentation and information systems.
