Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join our team at Henry Martin Group. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing substructure and superstructure works (RC) and structural steel works for our significant new build residential development.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high-profile project and take your career to the next level. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing on-site operations, supervising the construction team, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and project specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of Construction Activities: Lead the substructure and superstructure (RC) and structural steel work while coordinating site operations to maintain project schedules and budgets.
  • Safe Lifting Operations: Ensure safe and efficient lifting operations, working closely with the lifting crew and subcontractors.
  • Logistics Coordination: Plan and manage site logistics, including the scheduling of deliveries, coordination of resources, and optimization of site layouts to enhance workflow and safety.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations and company policies, conducting regular safety audits and toolbox talks to promote a safe working environment.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor site staff and subcontractors, fostering a collaborative and productive work culture.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor the quality of work and ensure that all construction activities meet required standards and specifications.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager or in a similar role within residential construction, with a focus on sub and superstructure works.
  • Strong knowledge of RC and structural steel construction techniques and processes.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations and best practices within the construction industry.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, able to motivate and lead a diverse team.
  • Valid CSCS Card and relevant health and safety qualifications.

We estimate the salary for this position to be around £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
