Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Neurotechnology Device Development Director to lead our neurotechnology devices development team at Vector Recruitment Ltd.

About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a senior leader with experience in developing complex implantable medical devices. As a key figure in our Neurotech department, you will be responsible for leading design and transfer to manufacture of these cutting-edge devices.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of technical leadership and project management, with experience in program management, resource management, client relationship management, and business development.

Responsibilities
  • Drive new product development of neurotech/implantable medical devices through technical leadership.
  • Program manage projects to ensure timely delivery, within budget, and to client satisfaction.
  • Lead teams to advise on product development and regulatory processes, and contribute to Neurotechnology market strategy.
Requirements
  • An Engineering degree with a strong academic background.
  • A deep understanding of neuromodulation device design and/or complex implantable medical devices, including risk management.
  • Experience in team management and/or project leadership.
  • A recent history of leading engineering teams to develop novel AIMDs from development through to clinical trials or product launch.
