About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Support Worker to join our team at Eden Futures. As a Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental ill health, and associated complex needs to lead a full and active life.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support service users to develop and maintain their independence, promoting their assessed needs and individual support and care plans.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of service users, taking appropriate action to safeguard their welfare and protect them from abuse wherever possible.
  • Provide emotional support and maintain a person-centred approach, respecting the autonomy and dignity of service users.
  • Support service users to participate in chosen social activities and services in their community, manage their finances and medication responsibly, and assist with practical tasks around the home.
  • Act as an informal point of contact for those in the service users' circle of support, such as families and social workers.
  • Accurately report and record any issues related to the care and support of our service users to monitor their health and wellbeing.
  • Comply with Health and Safety regulations and have regard for the Health, Safety, and Welfare of others.
  • Maintain professional boundaries and form appropriate relationships with those we care for.
  • Work within organisational policies, procedures, and guidance, demonstrating the organisation's values and behaviours in your work.
