Job Description

We are seeking an accomplished Management Accountant / Finance Business Partner to join our client's dynamic finance team in Daventry. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial information and supporting the growth of the business.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Cash flow management: control cash flow on a daily/weekly and monthly basis, including forecasting.
  • Account preparation: prepare monthly management accounts and statutory accounts.
  • Reporting: prepare Management information reports.
  • Business partnering: provide business partnering support to the wider business.
  • Analysis: analyse costs and nominal accounts.
  • Documentation: fully document new and existing processes and reports to a high standard.
  • Budgeting: assist in preparation of the annual budget.
  • Audit coordination: coordinate the annual external audit, annual/interim.
  • Credit note authorisation: authorise credit notes and bank payments.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a finance team, providing business partnering support.
  • Professional qualifications (QBE/Part Qual or Qualified).
  • Monthly management account production experience.
  • Dealing with people at all levels, including directors.
  • Strong Excel skills.
