The logistics business is a true market leader, boasting an excellent working environment and culture. As the Management Accountant, you will report directly to the Group Finance Director.

Duties of the Management Accountant:

  • Control cash flow on a daily/weekly and monthly basis, together with forecasts.
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts and statutory accounts.
  • Preparation of Management information reports.
  • Business Partnering the wider business.
  • Analysis of costs and nominal accounts.
  • Fully document new and existing processes and reports to a high standard.
  • Assist in preparation of the annual budget.
  • Coordinate the annual external audit, annual/interim.
  • Authorising credit notes & bank payments.

Salary Estimate: The estimated salary for this position is £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Experience & Skills:

  • Experience of working in a Finance Team and providing business partnering support to the group.
  • QBE/Part Qual or Qualified.
  • Experience of producing monthly management accounts.
  • Previous experience of dealing with people at all levels, including directors.
  • Strong Excel skills.
