**Job Summary:**

This role involves providing essential support to healthcare professionals and assisting patients in their daily activities. You will work closely with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.

**Responsibilities and Accountabilities:**

  1. Assist patients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  2. Support patients with mobility and physical activities, ensuring their safety at all times.
  3. Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing staff.
  4. Help with meal preparation and feeding for patients who require assistance.
  5. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to hygiene protocols.

**Requirements and Essential Skills:**

  1. A minimum of 6 months of experience in a healthcare or care assistant role.
  2. Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with residents, families, and the healthcare team.
  3. Flexibility to work across different shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  4. A valid DBS check is required.

**Working Hours and Salary:**

  • 20-37 hours per week.
  • A competitive salary of £11.09 per hour.
