Job Title: Young Person Support Specialist
Location: Canterbury, Whitstable and Thanet region in South East England.
Estimated Salary: £27,285 per annum based on national averages for similar positions in the UK.
Working Hours: Monday-Friday 40 hours per week with a rota out of hours service.
Contract Type: Permanent employment opportunity.
We are seeking a dedicated Youth Development Professional to join our team at DCV Technologies. As a Young Person Support Specialist, you will be providing high-quality support and positive outcomes for young individuals in care services, including unaccompanied asylum-seeking young people.
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored support to young people living independently in their own homes.
- Assist in developing essential independent living skills among the young adults.
- Promote and encourage positive life choices, including social interactions and personal development opportunities.
