Business Development Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to drive business growth in the UK and EMEA regions. The successful candidate will have a proven background in mechanical engineering sales and a strong understanding of the Defence, Automotive, Oil and Gas, and other industries.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing new customer account plans, working with senior management teams to define strategic priorities, and taking the lead on new business and new customers. They will also have experience in project managing and overseeing major bid responses.

The role will involve working from home with one day of travel to the office in the Southeast per week. The successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive salary of £55,000 - £60,000, a generous car allowance, and a comprehensive commission structure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive business growth in the UK and EMEA regions
  • Develop new customer account plans
  • Work with senior management teams to define strategic priorities
  • Take the lead on new business and new customers
  • Project manage and oversee major bid responses

Requirements:

  • Proven engineering sales experience as a Business Development Manager or similar
  • A mechanical engineering or manufacturing sales background
  • An engineering qualification is beneficial
  • Ability to travel nationally and internationally
  • Willingness to work from home with one day of travel to the office in the Southeast per week
