Job Title: Data Governance Manager

Finatal is seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Manager to join our team. As a Data Governance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing the company's data governance framework.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a data governance culture and standard across the organisation
  • Design and implement a robust data governance framework and operating model for master and reference data
  • Develop and deliver training programs to promote a strong data governance culture
  • Ensure data products meet quality and usability standards throughout their lifecycle
  • Collaborate with teams to design and implement processes and tools for Management Information and Monetizable Data
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and contractual obligations
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for data governance and continuously improve processes to enhance data value
  • Develop strategies for managing data risks and protecting assets, ensuring business continuity
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in implementing data governance programs and frameworks
  • Strong knowledge of data management principles, including data quality, classification, and integration
  • Familiarity with data governance tools such as Atlan, Collibra, or modern cloud data platforms including Snowflake, Azure, DBT and Fivetran
  • Knowledge of business systems like Salesforce, NetSuite, and Marketo is a plus
  • Understanding of Data Governance frameworks Dama-Dmbok and Dcam
  • Experience with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR) and developing data policies
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience in driving change within complex organisations
