Trade Marketing Manager - Foodservice Business

Our client, a leading foodservice business, is seeking a Trade Marketing Manager to drive sales growth within the commercial function of the business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering activity plans from all suppliers within marketing budgets, conducting audits of key activities, and securing approval from senior internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering activity plans from all suppliers within marketing budgets.
  • Conducting audits of key activities and addressing implementation issues collaboratively.
  • Securing approval from senior internal and external stakeholders for key activities.
  • Collaborating closely with the Senior Trade Marketing Manager to oversee promotional plans and explore new opportunities for additional promotional efforts.
  • Assisting the Senior Trade Marketing Manager in negotiations with suppliers to optimise joint business plan investments.
  • Strategizing trade marketing initiatives to maximise bankable income and ensure successful execution.
  • Cultivating trade marketing relationships with new suppliers to expand their investment in the business.
  • Identifying, developing, and executing new opportunities for supplier and partner investments.
  • Establishing contact strategies with key suppliers to foster relationships with their marketing and event teams, unlocking additional opportunities.
  • Monitoring activities of competitors and brand partners closely.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience working within a client-facing role, ideally within procurement or sales teams, and possess strong commercial acumen, negotiation, presentation, and influencing skills.
