About the Job:

We are seeking a Plant Engineer to join our team at our client's recycling plant near Cannock. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by carrying out planned and reactive maintenance tasks. This includes electrical and mechanical work, from fault finding and repair of electrical systems to maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment such as conveyors, crushers, and hydraulics. You will also need to ensure accurate completion of relevant paperwork and carry out general site maintenance duties.

Your Skills and Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you will need to have a solid background in electrical and mechanical engineering, ideally with experience in a similar environment. Formal qualifications like NVQ, HNC or 18th edition wiring regs would be advantageous. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, able to work independently, and has strong problem-solving skills.

What We Offer:

This position offers a competitive salary of £54,000 per annum, 33 days annual leave, pension scheme, private health care, and sick pay.
