Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for a Heavy Industry Maintenance Role at our client's busy recycling plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking planned and reactive maintenance activities, including electrical and mechanical work. This will involve fault finding and repair of electrical systems, as well as maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment such as conveyors, crushers, granulators, hammer mills, hydraulics, pumps, motors, gear boxes, and bearings.

Requirements:

We require an experienced multi-skilled engineer with a background in heavy industry environments such as recycling, aggregates, foundry sectors. You should have strong electrical and mechanical engineering skills, and formal qualifications like NVQ, HNC or 18th edition wiring regs would be beneficial. We are looking for someone who is hard working, highly motivated, and capable of developing an effective maintenance function.

Benefits:

This position comes with an excellent basic salary of £53,000 per annum, plus overtime, 33 days annual leave, pension scheme, private health care, and sick pay.
