This part-time Financial Controller position offers a rare opportunity to join a unique business at an exciting stage of its development. They will be responsible for supervising monthly bank reconciliations, providing data for payroll processing, and managing debtor collection and credit control processes.

You will work closely with the Finance Director to identify opportunities for process improvements and drive business growth. Your proactive and hands-on approach will enable you to manage both detailed financial processes and high-level strategy.

Job Description

  • Supervise monthly bank reconciliations and provide data for payroll processing.
  • Manage debtor collection and credit control processes.
  • Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns.
  • Liaise with external accountants to ensure timely submission of accounts.

Requirements

We are looking for a financial professional who can bring a balance of technical expertise and strategic insight to the role. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Professional accounting qualifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Experience in financial control, compliance, and long-term financial planning.
  • A proactive and hands-on approach, with the ability to manage both detailed financial processes and high-level strategy.
  • A proven track record of improving financial processes and supporting business growth.

Salary

£60,000 - £80,000 per annum (part-time role)
