Job Role: Learning Support Assistant

At Timeplan Education Group Ltd, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in helping students with additional learning needs achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students with varying learning needs, working collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to ensure each student receives the best possible education.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs), helping students set and achieve their academic goals.
  • Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment, fostering a culture of respect and empathy among students, teachers, and staff.
  • Support classroom activities, assist with lesson preparation, and provide individualized support to students as needed.
  • Monitor and report on student progress, identifying areas where additional support is required and collaborating with teachers to develop effective strategies.
  • Work closely with teachers and other staff to adapt teaching resources and strategies, ensuring that all students can access the curriculum and reach their full potential.
  • Build positive relationships with students, encouraging their independence, self-confidence, and a growth mindset.
  • Support the physical and emotional well-being of students, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
