Job Description:
  • Develop and manage monthly management accounts to provide insights into business performance
  • Oversee the production of monthly Sage payroll, ensuring timely payments to employees
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Create and implement budgeting and cash forecasting processes to enhance financial performance
  • Administer pension schemes, adhering to statutory regulations
  • Regularly reconcile balance sheets to identify and rectify discrepancies
  • Analyse profit and loss statements to identify areas for improvement
  • Establish and maintain an accurate fixed assets register
  • Prepare annual accounts for audit, meeting regulatory standards
  • Manage insurance renewals and claims strategically
  • Supervise three Accounts Assistants, promoting a culture of excellence

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, with a competitive salary of £60,000 per annum, plus an enhanced pension package. Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems are essential.
