Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to join our team at one of our Primary Schools in Huddersfield. As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with the class teacher and pupils on a day-to-day basis, providing support and assistance to those who require it.

About the Role:

">

This is a full-time position, working 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday. You will be required to support pupils in the Early Years Foundation Stage, assisting them with their learning and development both inside and outside of the classroom. Your primary responsibility will be to provide individualized support to children aged between 2-4 years, helping them to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Providing emotional support and guidance to pupils in the Early Years Foundation Stage">
  • Assisting the class teacher with lesson planning, preparation and delivery">
  • Supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a positive and inclusive environment">
  • Communicating effectively with parents, teachers and other professionals to ensure smooth transitions and progress">
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting progress to the class teacher and school management">

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • ">
  • A strong understanding of child development and educational principles">
  • Experience working with children in a professional capacity, preferably in an Early Years setting">
  • An Enhanced DBS check or willingness to complete one">
  • Two professional references available upon request">
  • The right to work in the UK">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills">

Salary:

£25,000 - £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience
