Support Children with Complex Hearing Needs



This role is an exciting opportunity to join our Hearing Impaired Additionally Resourced Provision team as a Special Educational Support Assistant. In this position, you will play a vital role in supporting children with complex hearing needs and their families within our setting.



About the Role:


  • 30 hours per week, term time plus 5 days
  • Temporary contract until 31st August 2025
  • Grade 6 salary range: £17,084 - £18,269 per annum


We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual who can provide exceptional support to our students. As a Special Educational Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other staff members to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.



Key Responsibilities:


  • To provide individualised support to students with complex hearing needs
  • To assist teachers in planning and delivering educational programs
  • To maintain accurate records of student progress and development


Requirements:


  • A strong understanding of child development and learning principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • DBS clearance at the appropriate level
