Job Title: Quantity Surveying Professional

An experienced Quantity Surveying Professional is required to oversee a high-profile project in the North East.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Cost Control: Monitor and control project costs from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.
  2. Bills of Quantities: Prepare, review, and manage bills of quantities (BoQ) and other measurement documentation to guarantee precise costing and contract administration.
  3. Contract Administration: Lead the contract administration process, enforcing compliance with NEC 4 or NEC 3, and effectively handling contractual matters, claims, and variations.
  4. Tender Evaluation: Participate in the tender evaluation process, assessing bid submissions and making recommendations for contract award.
  5. Subcontractor Liaison: Foster effective relationships with subcontractors, ensuring their performance aligns with project objectives.
  6. Risk Mitigation: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, monitoring risk throughout the project's life cycle.
  7. Project Monitoring: Regularly monitor project progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  8. Reporting: Prepare comprehensive project reports, detailing cost forecasts, cash flow analysis, and project progress updates.

The successful candidate will have a degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field, along with extensive experience in quantity surveying and cost management.

Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum, inclusive of a company vehicle or car allowance and an attractive benefits package.
