We are seeking an exceptional Construction Cost Manager/Project Quantity Surveyor to join our Newcastle Real Estate team.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to work on iconic projects across the Northeast, guiding clients and their teams to deliver best value for money.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Assist in feasibility studies and procurement reports
  • Estimate and cost plan, producing and presenting the final cost plan
  • Tendering and procuring, including pre-qualification stage management
  • Effectively manage post-contract cost variances and change control processes
  • Take responsibility for cost checks and valuations on larger projects, ensuring timely and accurate checking and valuation
  • Produce monthly post-contract cost reports and present them to the client
  • Contribute to value engineering
  • Negotiate and agree final accounts
  • Interface with clients and other consultants at all project stages
Requirements:
  • A proven track record of delivering high-quality cost management/quantity surveying services across the full project lifecycle
  • Ideal: professionally qualified (RICS or similar)
  • Degree or HNC level qualification
