Job Title: Advanced Practitioner - Paediatric Emergency Care

Are you a highly motivated and experienced registered healthcare practitioner with advanced practice skills and a recognised MSc qualification? Do you have a passion for delivering high-quality care to children and families?

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative individual to join our team as a Paediatric Advanced Clinical Practitioner in the Paediatric Emergency Department and Observation and Assessment Unit at Salford Royal. As a key member of our team, you will provide expert nursing support and leadership to the department, working closely with a multidisciplinary team of senior clinicians, including paediatricians, paediatric emergency and emergency medicine consultants, and paediatric consultant nurses.

About the Role:
  • Deliver high-quality clinical care to children attending Salford Royal, working as part of the 24-hour advanced clinical practitioner rota.
  • Provide expert nursing support and leadership to the department, working closely with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Support the development of advanced practice skills and recognised MSc qualification in the team.
  • Contribute to the credentialing process with the Royal College of Emergency Medicine.

This vacancy is open to those who have a current NMC PIN to practice as a Registered Nurse or Midwife in the UK, or those who are currently enrolled on a course which means they expect to receive their full NMC PIN within the next 2-3 months.
