Job Description

We are seeking an Advanced Materials Development Specialist to join our team at Omega Resource Group.

This is a unique opportunity for a talented professional to utilize their technical expertise in materials engineering to drive innovation and efficiency in our manufacturing processes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and optimizing materials to enhance product quality, performance, and sustainability. This role involves critical decision-making on material selection, process optimization, and cost reduction initiatives.

In addition to these responsibilities, the candidate will also ensure compliance with specifications and standards, develop cost-effective manufacturing approaches, and provide effective cross-functional communication and collaboration.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will require a strong educational foundation in a relevant science or engineering field, such as a HNC in materials science or engineering. Technical experience in manufacturing engineering is highly advantageous, as is a proactive approach and ability to prioritize and support multiple projects.

We offer a competitive salary of $85,000 per annum, commensurate with your experience, as well as a range of benefits to support your career development and overall well-being.
