Join Our Team as a Packaging Process Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Packaging Process Engineer to join our team at Jaguar Land Rover. As a key member of our Manufacturing department, you will play a crucial role in bringing innovation to life by collaborating with expert technicians and problem-solvers to design and implement cutting-edge packaging solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute packaging development activities to ensure efficient and cost-effective packaging solutions for all parts shipped through our Imports and Exports Operations function.
  • Manage and maintain packaging specifications and instructions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Provide hands-on operation support to ensure production is maintained and respond to queries and andon issues in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with 3rd party partners to ensure Dangerous Goods requirements are met and arrange appropriate testing and certification of packaging as required by legislation.
  • Identify engineering changes at part number level and update current packing processes to aid component identification with our 3PL Packing Partner.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in packaging development and application to manufacturing.
  • Background in supply chain for packaging.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in all relevant business systems, including MS Office, SAP, and CMMS.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels both internally and externally.
