Maplecrest Ford Lincoln of Union is seeking a skilled Sales Manager to lead our used car sales team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of achieving sales targets and increasing profitability.

The Sales Manager will be responsible for setting department goals, understanding the importance of building and maintaining relationships, overseeing the budget, motivating the team, and projecting an environment of continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Monitor and manage dealership inventory of used car vehicles.
  2. Establish standards for appraising and perform the appraising function.
  3. Develop and implement sales strategies to increase sales and revenue.
  4. Provide coaching and leadership to the sales team.
  5. Review and analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  6. Collaborate with management to develop and implement sales plans and promotions.
  7. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  1. Minimum of three years of experience in automotive sales.
  2. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and increasing profitability.
  3. At least one year of prior used vehicle sales experience and a broad knowledge of all types of vehicles.
  4. Three years of managing inventory at a dealership level.
  5. Strong work ethic with the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  6. Experience providing outstanding customer service by showcasing expertise, fostering trust, and growing customer satisfaction.
  7. Friendliness, enthusiasm, reliability, with a positive 'team-player' attitude.
  8. Open to constructive feedback to improve performance and development.
  9. Flexible with work scheduling and availability to work weekends and holidays.
  10. Strong computer and multitasking skills, including Microsoft Office.
  11. Ability to operate a clean, organized, presentable workplace with strong attention to detail.
  12. High school diploma or the equivalent.
  13. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
