About the Role:
  • Work closely with teachers to plan and implement educational activities tailored to the needs of students.
  • Provide individualised support to children with autism and other special educational needs, ensuring they feel included and valued.
  • Deliver tutoring sessions to reinforce learning concepts and skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teachers to track student progress and address any concerns that may arise.
  • Mentor students, fostering their social and emotional development while promoting positive behaviour.
  • Create a safe and supportive classroom environment that encourages learning.
  • Contribute to the preparation of classroom materials and resources.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children, particularly those with autism or special educational needs, is highly beneficial.
  • A background in education or tutoring is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective collaboration with students and staff.
  • Ability to demonstrate empathy and understanding when working with diverse learners.

Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum
