Job Summary

This role is crucial in enhancing our purchased materials, components, and assemblies through monitoring, testing, and reporting issues to prevent product failures.

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you'll work closely with the Quality Manager and a dedicated team of Engineers and Technicians within the Quality department.

You'll be responsible for identifying failure modes in products and components, devising corrective and preventative actions, and improving process inspection and verification.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement quality tools and methodologies, including PPAP, 8D, and 5 Y's.
  2. Support New Product Introduction (NPI) projects and improve manufacturing processes.
  3. Collaborate with the Operations team to enhance inspection and verification processes.
  4. Communicate quality metrics and objectives to the business.

Requirements:

  1. Strong understanding of quality tools and methodologies.
  2. Background in CNC Machining and CMM inspection.
  3. Experience supporting NPI projects.
  4. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
