Futures, a leading manufacturer with an in-house machine shop, seeks a Senior Quality Engineer to drive quality improvements across the organization.

Role Overview

The appointed Senior Quality Engineer will play a crucial role in maintaining robust ISO9001 accredited quality systems, ensuring quality is at the forefront of the company's focus. The ideal candidate will have a good eye for detail, excellent knowledge of ISO9001, and experience within a fast-paced, high-quality manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Planning and Monitoring: Plan and monitor quality activities for a manufacturing site and machine shop, ensuring compliance with department objectives and quality standards.
  • Project Support: Collaborate with the Quality Manager to complete assigned projects throughout their lifecycle, maintain/reinforce improvements until they become standard practice, and liaise with Team Leaders to ensure projects are completed on time and to the appropriate quality standards.
  • Audit and Compliance: Conduct audits in line with department objectives, ensuring suppliers meet adequate standards and manufacturing processes deliver as required.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum four years' experience as a Quality Engineer in a similar manufacturing environment.
  • Skillset: Excellent knowledge of ISO9001, wide remit covering multiple aspects of quality engineering: Audits, Supplier Quality, Customer Liaison, Manufacturing Processes, etc.
