Job Description

This role is pivotal to Rotork plc's continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on enhancing the quality of purchased materials, components, and assemblies. The successful candidate will monitor, test, and report issues to prevent re-occurrence of actual and potential product failures.

As a key member of the Quality department, you will work alongside Engineering and Operations teams to identify failure modes in products and components. This involves implementing effective corrective and preventative actions, developing methodologies for improving process inspection and verification, and collaborating with the Operations team to enhance inspection and verification processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Failure Mode Identification: Identify root causes of product failures and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Process Improvement: Develop and implement methodologies to improve process inspection and verification, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering and Operations teams to drive process improvements and ensure seamless communication.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Strong understanding of quality tools and methodologies, including PPAP, 8D, and 5 Whys. Background in CNC Machining and CMM inspection is essential.
  • NPI Experience: Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) projects is highly desirable.
