Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated Democratic Services Assistant to join our team. As a key member of the Democratic Services Team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the democratic processes that underpin our organization.

Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the democratic processes within the council. This includes assisting with the preparation and distribution of meeting agendas, minutes, and reports, as well as providing support during council meetings. Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing administrative support to the Democratic Services Team
  • Assisting with the organisation of meetings, including producing agendas and minutes
  • Ensuring all published reports conform to the agreed Combined Authority Standard
