We're seeking an Internal Audit Professional to join our team at Mercy. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing risk areas and developing a plan to gain a deeper understanding of significant risks to the organization. This includes evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of the internal control environment and performing risk assessments, reviews, and internal audits throughout Mercy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute audits, including developing the risk matrix and audit program
  • Coordinate fieldwork with process owners and document and evaluate audit results
  • Develop data analysis for audit projects using Computer Assisted Audit Tools
  • Present audit findings and results to department management

This is a hybrid role, with mostly remote work and the ability to be onsite as needed. You'll be working with a team to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring the integrity of our operations and financial processes.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in accounting or a related field
  • Experience working with computer-aided auditing, continuous monitoring, and Computer Assisted Audit Tools (ACL, IDEA, Tableau)
  • Knowledge of audit standards and practices with strong analytical capabilities
