Site Operations Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Engineer to join our team at Octavius Infrastructure. As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and maintain site engineering records, including survey control and setting out.
- Collaborate with the survey team to ensure accurate and efficient site operations.
- Assist the site management team in managing sections of the work and sub-contract packages.
- Liaise with clients and designers to resolve design issues and changes.
- Conduct regular checks on delivered materials to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Verify sub-contractor setting out and quality control measures.
- Establish and maintain records of calibration documents and check registers for all instruments on site.
- Conduct surveys of completed works to record as-built conditions.
- Assist in drafting method statements, task briefings, and inspection and test plans.
- Experience in infrastructure and/or civils works, including earthworks, structures, highways, drainage, or utilities.
- Strong communication skills and ability to liaise effectively with the delivery team and clients.
- HNC/Degree in Construction/Civil Engineering or equivalent, with working towards institute membership (ICE).
- CSCS Card and relevant certifications (e.g., cable avoidance training, first aid training, IOSH/SSSTS training).
