Primary Teacher Vacancy in Islington

Job Type: Full-time

Estimated Salary: £15,000-£21,000 per month (dependent on experience and pay scale)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Primary Teacher to join our team at GSL Education. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching students with SEMH needs in a Primary Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Islington.

About the Role:

  • The primary teacher will provide academic and personal support to students, adapting their teaching approach to meet individual learning needs.
  • Responsibilities include monitoring student progress, providing regular feedback, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure effective teaching practices.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a strong track record of teaching in primary education.
  • Previous experience working with students with SEMH needs is highly desirable.
