SEN Lead Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEN Lead Teacher to join our team at Five Education Recruitment Limited. This is a temp-to-perm role, where you will be the lead teacher of the resource base, responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons that target students' SEMH needs.
Main Responsibilities:
- Planning, delivering, and evaluating lessons tailored to students' individual needs
- Deploying a small team of SEND teaching assistants effectively and supporting their professional development
- Liaising with the SENDCo, Senior Leadership Team, and external professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students
- Preparing learning resources and adapting teaching methods to meet students' diverse requirements
- Writing progress reports for individual pupils and regularly providing feedback to parents/carers
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- A thorough understanding of the SEND Code of Practice
- Prior experience in a specialist provision is desirable, but not essential
Estimated Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum
