About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Support Worker to join our team at Active Care Group. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain a trusting relationship with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Support clients in line with their care plans and promote their independence
  • Monitor and maintain health, safety, and security in the workplace
  • Contribute to the protection of individuals from abuse
  • Liaise with other agencies and professionals as required

Requirements:

  • Successful applicants will ideally hold an NVQ 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care or a Care Certificate
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, backed by previous experience of supporting individuals with complex needs
  • Proficiency in the use of hoists and specialist equipment
  • Reliability, integrity, and complete trustworthiness are essential attributes in this role
