Senior Quantity Surveyor Expert

About the Opportunity
Our client, a reputable luxury housebuilder in the Northwest, is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and be responsible for the commercial function on three developments, mentoring two QSs and two AQSs.
Key Responsibilities
- Motivate and coordinate staff to undertake current and prospective workloads.
- Monitor individual performances and conduct annual appraisals.
- Optimise contract profitability and ensure optimum cash flow position.
- Manage key subcontract accounts from inception to final accounts.
- Implement subcontract procurement strategy and monitor commercial processes.
- Prepare monthly CVR reports and contribute to risk management.
- Assist in shaping long-term delivery strategies and provide cost and value engineering advice.
Requirements
- BSc Quantity Surveying or equivalent degree level qualification.
- High level of computer literacy and knowledge of COINS system desirable.
- Experience within Volume Housebuilding with strong understanding of surveying and contractual procedures.
- Strong IT skills.
About You
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, be able to motivate and develop staff, and have a good understanding of all aspects of surveying and contractual procedures. Salary circa £60,000 - £80,000 per annum depending on experience.
