We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Pharmacy Assistant. This role is crucial in supporting our pharmacy operations and delivering exceptional customer service.
About the Job- Support pharmacists in the dispensing of medications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring patients feel supported and valued.
- Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to maintain an efficient workflow.
- Manage inventory, ensuring the organisation and integrity of pharmaceuticals.
- Utilise computer systems for prescription processing, stock management, and customer queries.
- Maintain a clean and organised pharmacy environment.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A strong foundation in pharmacy principles, with a preference for those holding an NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent experience.
- Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating empathy and patience.
- A keen eye for detail, ensuring the accuracy and safety of pharmacy operations.
- Strong teamwork abilities, working effectively in a collaborative environment.
- Proficiency in computer systems, including pharmacy software.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to problem-solve and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
This role offers a flexible schedule to promote work-life balance. The estimated salary for this position is £28,000 - £38,000 per annum, depending on experience.
