Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our dedicated team at Boots pharmacy on the High Street, Tenterden, Kent. The ideal candidate will have an NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services and be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual to develop their pharmacy career and make a difference to the lives of our patients. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a pivotal role in the entire medicine dispensing process, from preparation to final checks.

You will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective running of the pharmacy and healthcare business, as well as leading the day-to-day running of the dispensary. This includes responsibility for legal, safe & ethical decision-making in the pharmacy, complying with legal and professional requirements, and delivering efficient dispensary operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate the dispensary team to ensure seamless operation of the pharmacy.
  • Ensure accurate and timely dispensing of medication, adhering to company standards and regulatory guidelines.
  • Conduct regular inventory management and ordering processes to maintain adequate stock levels.
  • Liaise with healthcare professionals, patients, and other members of the pharmacy team to facilitate effective communication and customer care.
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent.
  • Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
