About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team at Glan Irfon Reablement/Rehabilitation Unit in Builth Wells.

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for leading the therapy input within the unit, working closely with the Registered Manager to provide high-quality care and support to patients.

Your expertise will be instrumental in developing and implementing rehabilitation plans that meet the complex needs of our patients, ensuring they receive the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • To lead the therapy input within the unit, managing a caseload of patients with highly specialized complex needs.
  • To work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans.
  • To provide training, education, and supervision to staff, promoting best practice and excellence in patient care.
  • To contribute to the development of professional practice and service delivery, driving innovation and improvement.

Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy.
  • HCPC registration and advanced accredited training at master's level or equivalent.
  • Experience in managing a complex caseload and leading a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £44,999 - £58,169 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including access to ongoing training and education, pension scheme, and health insurance.
